What is a pump enema?

The  manual or electric pump system reservoir is filled with enema solution. The enema solution is then administered through a tube which is lubricated and inserted directly into your rectum while in the left lateral or knees to chest position. Person must then transfer themselves to the toilet when they are ready to evacuate their bowels.
