What is a bulb syringe / bulb douche enema?

A bulb syringe usually includes two pieces – a rubber bulb that you fill with an enema solution and a nozzle that you insert into it. Lubricate the nozzle and insert directly into your rectum while in the left lateral or knees to chest position. Bulb is then squeezed to administer the enema solution. Person must then transfer themselves to the toilet when they are ready to evacuate their bowels.
